African Cultural Festival (ACF) is strategically structured to serve as a medium to bring all Africans together in one unified voice, to bridge the gap between Africans in the Diasporas and African-Americans and other non-African heritages. This also encourages international business trade and positive changes within our community.
Uche Ozoh (Film Producer/Director), ACF president and founder, attended Grambling State University (GSU) where he obtained his B.Sc. in Computer Science. After working a few years as a programming consultant in the Midwest, he decided to further his educational studies and career at UCLA where he obtained his MFA in Film Production. Uche is a great advocate for change. He encourages the organization to reach out to our community and to think about what we can do, not what our community can do for us. "CHANGE" is one of the basic fundamental values of ACF to bring real progress to our community. ACF is taking a bold step to make that "CHANGE" by bringing people of all races, cultures, and religions together, as an inspiration to re-establish and promote peace, love, and unity within our community at a level that has never been done before.
The ACF not only serves as a medium to bring all Africans together, from all its Diasporas, as one unified voice, but also focuses on promoting and enhancing African businesses in tourism, arts and crafts, restaurants and hospitality, and entertainment, as well as in the industrial and manufacturing sectors of heavy machinery and in the import/export of natural resources and raw materials.
The ACF seeks to create a dichotomy to enable us to empower Africans economically and politically, to focus on making valuable and positive contributions to our community, by investing in education, culture, arts, and charity services to beneficially impact our community.
